The Birth of the Family

The Reed family came into existance with the birth of mom, Tanya, on Saturday, October 3, 1970. Tanya was born in Silver City, New Mexico.
When Tanya was 23 years old, she became pregnant with her first child. On March 27, 1994 she had a baby boy, whom she named Christian Michael McMaster. Christian was stillborn.
A few short months later, Tanya became pregnant with her second child. And on Saturday, April 1, 1995 she had a baby girl, delivered by C-Section after 2 1/2 days of labor. Nancy Caitlyn Danielle Reed-Quadri. Caitlyn was 9 pounds even. She was 21.5 inches long. She had jet black hair and brown eyes.
When Caitlyn was a little over a year old, Tanya became pregnant again. This time she had a baby boy. On Tuesday, July 1, 1997, Cody Austin Scott Reed came into this world, also by C-Section after 2 1/2 days of labor. Cody was a whopping 9 pounds, 2 ounces. And was also 21.5 inches long. Caitlyn and Cody are exactly 27 months apart.
This family of three went on as a great family.
Then suddenly in March of 2005 Tanya discovered she was once again pregnant. This pregnancy proved to be VERY difficult for Tanya. She ended up having to move in with friends, to have help. Tanya and her doctors scheduled a C-Section for this child. No labor for mom this time. The delivery was scheduled for November 1, 2005. *Do you see a trend here?* On Monday, October 31, 2005, Tanya was taken down to Ultrasound to have an Amnio performed, to determine if the baby's lungs were developed enough to survive, if delivered. The doctors were not able to perform the Amnio because there was not any amniotic fluid left. So they decided to do an emergency C-Section a day early.
There was a big scramble for Tanya to get ahold of everyone that was to be present the next day. At first the only person that Tanya was able to get ahold of was Kaye, one of mom's friends. Kaye had Cody with her, while mom was in the hospital. Kaye's husband Mike had to call in sick to work that day, in order to bring Kaye & Cody up to the hospital. Tanya was not able to get ahold of her other friend Laura. So Kaye kept calling to get Laura to wake up. Finally she was able to get Laura on the phone and explained what was going on. Laura had to call in to work that day as well. Tanya also had to call Jack, the father and inform him that they were going to be delivering that day. Jack also had to call in sick to work that day. WOW!! All those people calling in, just to be with Tanya. NICE friends! Finally everyone arrived at the hospital. Laura was to have been able to be present in the operating/delivery room, while they were delivering the baby. But because it was an emergency, they would not allow her to be in there. But Laura got LOTS of pictures of mom before they took her away.
Finally at 3:38PM on Monday, October 31, 2005, Dakota James Reed arrived in this world. Dakota was a TINY baby, compared to the other two. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces and 18.5 inches long. Dakota had bright blue eyes and even brighter red hair.
This family has two pets. A cockatiel named Baby and a Min Pin named Turbo.
